Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have announced the acquisition of defender Christian Owusu from Techiman Liberty Youth FC in the ongoing transfer window.

Owusu joins the Premier League outfit on a four-year deal, expected to play a significant role for the club in the upcoming season.

"Dreams FC are pleased to announce the signing of Christian Owusu. The left-back joins the Believers from Techiman Liberty Youth FC. Christian Owusu signed a contract that will run until 2028," the club wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Owusu becomes the latest addition to Dreams FC's squad as they aim to improve their performance in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season. The enterprising left-back was a standout for Techiman Liberty Youth in the recently concluded Division One League campaign. His outstanding performance caught the attention of several clubs, but he chose to join the Still Believe lads.

Despite facing challenges in the Ghana Premier League, Dreams FC made a notable run in the CAF Confederation Cup, reaching the semifinals.

The new season will start in September, with Dreams FC hoping to better their domestic performance after finishing 9th in the Ghana Premier League last season.
