FC Samartex midfielder, Ebenezer Ocran has expressed disappointment in the outcome of the Western derby at the Akoon Community Park.
Ghana Premier League defending champions Medeama SC emerged as winners in the Western derby against FC Samartex in match Day 7.
Jonathan Sowah's goal from the spot-kick in the additional minutes of the first half was enough for Medeama SC to grab the three maximum points.
Despite Medeama's win, FC Samartex was the better side and the former Karela United defensive midfielder was not enthused about the outcome.
Speaking during the post-match presser, Ebenezer Ocran expressed his disappointment after putting up a vintage performance.
"I am disappointed that after pulling off this good performance at the Akoon Park, we were unable to even get a point."
Samartex will host Legon Cities at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Wednesday.
The Timber Giants are lying on the 6th position on the league log.
