Hearts of Oak assistant coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru has heaped praises on their players after the precious comeback victory over Karela United over the weekend.
The 'Phobians' exhibited a great team spirit to fight from behind to beat the 'Pride and Passion' outfit by 3-1 in an epic week 25 clash last Saturday night at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
Mohammed Humin Dafie scored early to break the deadlock for the visitors but a brace from Hamza Issah coupled with Salim Adams' thunderbolt was enough to complete the comeback.
Reacting to the win, the enterprising coach admitted they needed this win to return on winning ways and that's exactly what they did and has commended their players for their output on the day.
"It's a nice feeling, we have to congratulate the boys for the way they played. The played very well because we dominated since the blow of the whistle although Karela took us by surprise to take the lead but we managed, they played according to the plan so I'm happy for them."
"We had to go all out to turn things around and that's exactly what the boys did. They knew what the supporters needed and they gave it to them so we are all happy with the results."
Hearts of Oak are now two points adrift eternal rivals Kotoko as they currently sit on the tenth spot with 35 points and will travel to Legon Cities in the next round of matches.
