The Egyptian lower division side are set to capture the experienced Ghanaian defender on a free transfer having parted ways with the Accra-based club this term
Egyptian Second Division side Beni Suef SC are closing in on former Hearts of Oak full-back Fatawu Mohammed in this January transfer window, kickgh.com understands.
The 30-year-old experienced defender is currently in Egypt awaiting to append his signature on a deal with the Beni Suef Club Stadium outfit barring any last minute hitch upon medical examinations.
His capture by the Egyptian side will come as a morale booster for manager Hassan Moussa given his vast experience in the summit of Ghana football competitions following spells with Real Tamale United and Hearts of Oak.
The deal is expected to be broken by a sports consortium company, Sports Light Consult.
Fatawu Mohammed has been capped four times by Ghana at the men's senior national team, the Back Stars.
