Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo says his side’s struggles in front of goal have been central to their poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League.

According to the Sure Wonders gaffer, an improved efficiency is vital if they are to claw their way out of relegation danger.

Aidoo, who took charge last month following the departures of two previous coaches (Nii Odartey Lamptey and J.E Sarpong), is tasked with stabilising a team fighting to avoid the drop. Ahead of their Week 14 trip to Bechem United, he reflected on the disappointment of their recent defeat to Swedru All Blacks but insisted morale remains intact.

“We are on a mission, and it’s not over until it’s over. We have lost, but we have not given up,” he told Eleven Wonders TV. “We will keep on working and working until the mission is accomplished.”

The coach revealed that this week’s training sessions have been focused heavily on sharpening the team’s finishing, as he acknowledged that missed chances have cost them valuable points.

“It’s all about us taking our chances. So today we really worked on finishes and set pieces. So we are working,” Aidoo added.
