Relegated Premier League side Eleven Wonders have succeeded in placing an interlocutory injunction on the organized play off scheduled by the Ghana Football Association.
Eleven Wonders, who weeks ago, wrote officially to the Ghana Football Association explaining reasons why they deserve to replace demoted Ashantigold SC in the Ghana Premier League for the 2022/23 season.
The Techiman-based side argued that for the fact that Ashantigold SC participated in the 2021/22 season and were officially demoted to the Second Division of Ghana Football, they ought to be given the chance to replace them.
Eleven Wonders finished two teams above other clubs which sees them participating in the Division One League for the 2022/23 season but insist to be the deserved side to fill in the shoes of Ashantigold.
Ghana Football Association are yet to respond to the calls of the club of which the intended play off comes off during the weekend.
A court at Wenchi in the Bono East region have given the Techiman-based side a writ to submit at the FA's Secretariat to hold on the play off.
Tamale City FC, Ebusua Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals will be representing Zone One, Two and Three in the intended play offs.
