According to Transfermarkt.com, three players have now tied as the most valuable footballers in the Ghana Premier League at the moment with a price tag of €175,000
The 2023/24 season just ended with lots of talents unearthed in the course of the campaign by different clubs and after a very close monitoring, the renowned and trusted player performance sports hub have now come out with the new list of the most expensive players in the Ghanaian topflight.
Among these three players are FC Samartex duo of Evans Osei-Wusu and Baba Musah Hamadu and sensational Accra Lions prodigy David Oduro.
Baba Musah, in his debut topflight season was really impressive for champions FC Samartex having scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in 32 appearances.
His teammate Evans Osei-Owusu was sensational in Samreboi last season and also recorded 19-goal involvements; scoring 11 goals and creating 8 in 27 matches.
David Oduro, looks like the only one with a reduction in price, having made 25 appearances for the Lions and played a vital role in helping them clinch the second spot in the just ended season having recently had trials at European giants FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC.
Other players in the top ten include Hearts of Oak's Hamza Issah, Frederick Asare of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Accra Lions duo of Dominic Amponsah and Daniel Awuni, GPL top scorer Stephen Amankona- all rated €150,000 as of now.
The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season will commence on August 17, 2024, and is expected to run until May 25, 2025.
