Former Black Stars defender, Lee Addy is very close to rejoining his former club Berekum Chelsea ahead of the 2022/23  season.

The experience lateral is also on the verge of relaunching himself in the country's topflight just like most Ghanaian footballers have with Sulley Muntari and Samuel Inkoom being the latest.

Addy, who just clocked 32 few weeks ago, hasn't played active football since 2019 with his last spell coming at South African side Free State Stars.

In his first spell, he joined the Bibires for two seasons from 2008 - 2010 before leaving for Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.

However, according to exclusive reports, the ex- Dinamo Zagreb defender has agreed personal terms, passed all mandatory medicals and is set to sign a three years contract with Berekum Chelsea.

Lee Addy really established himself as one of the best in his last GPL spell where he made the Black Stars squad for the 2010 World Cup which will be held in South Africa.
