Hearts of Oak have agreed to pay $25,000 to Legon Cities for the sensational attacker, but Legon Cities insists that Hearts of Oak should pay 30% onward transfer of the $25,000 to Berekum Chelsea.
Legon Cities signed Jonah Attuquaye from Berekum Chelsea ahead of the 2020/21 season, with an onward transfer fee of 30% included.
Legon Cities are reluctant to fork out the 30% fee to Berekum Chelsea from the agreed $25,000 for Jonah Attuquaye.
Hearts of Oak insists that they will pay $25,000 overall for the player, and Legon Cities must deal with the clause they agreed with Berekum Chelsea in their contract with them.
The 22-year-old boyhood Hearts of Oak supporter is poised to join the Accra-based side.
Hearts of Oak won the MTN FA Cup and finished sixth in the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak are currently preparing ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup and domestic season.
