Guinean goalkeeper, Mohamed Richard Camara has signed a new contract extension with Asante Kotoko pending official club announcement

The 25-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of last season on a two-year deal and has been a mainstay since his arrival having fended off competition from out-gone Frederick Asare to become the first-choice 

He made a total of 17 appearances in the league last season with eight clean sheets including other outings in their FA Cup glory having kept the post in their 2-1 win over lower division side Golden Kick FC in the final 

According to Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio, the stalwart shot-stopper has agreed to a new two-year deal with Asante Kotoko pending official club announcement, which will now extend his stay in Kumasi until 2028 

Mohamed Camara previously had stint at AS Kaloum and SOAR Académie SC all in the Guinea Premier League and has already capped twice for the senior national team of Guinea.
