Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama has expressed his willingness to consider a return to Ghana and potentially reunite with the Porcupine Warriors.

The Brazilian midfielder's agent has communicated to Kessben Sports that Gama's tenure with Bahrain's Al-Muharraq SC has officially concluded. He spent the 2022/2023 season on loan at Busaiteen Sports Club, where he delivered an impressive performance, netting 8 goals and contributing 10 assists in 18 matches.

As per the agent's official statement, Gama has no intentions of extending his stay in the Bahraini league, making him available for potential opportunities in the Ghanaian market.

Reliable sources suggest that Gama is ready to make a comeback with Asante Kotoko, provided specific favorable conditions can be met.

After the 2021/22 football season, Gama left the ranks of the Ghana Premier League side as an extension to his contract with Kotoko couldn't be secured.

This impasse stemmed from Gama's request for an enhanced salary, a proposition that Kotoko declined, leading to a standstill in the contract negotiation process.

Throughout his two-year duration at Asante Kotoko, Fabio Gama achieved a total of five goals across 48 appearances.
