Nurudeen Amadu, the head coach of FC Samartex, has announced his team's determination to replicate the successes of Dreams FC and Medeama SC as they venture into the CAF Champions League next season following their triumphant inaugural Ghana Premier League title win.
Sealing their league victory with a 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars on Matchday 32, the Samartex team is now setting their sights on continental success.
Expressing his ambitions for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign, Amadu highlighted the goal of emulating the achievements of Medeama SC and Dreams FC in CAF inter-club competitions.
"We'll strive to mirror the accomplishments of Medeama and Dreams FC in Africa and strive to achieve similar feats. Even if we fall short, their achievements will serve as a guiding light for our journey in Africa," Amadu shared during an interview with Akoma FM.
As the season draws to a close, FC Samartex is gearing up to face Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex before wrapping up their campaign at home against Accra Lions.
