Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 have announced the appointment of Amadu Nurudeen as the club's new head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season's campaign.

Nurudeen has joined the Samreboi based outfit on a two-year contract after a fruitful negotiation with the club's top hierarchy since last week.

 
The 52-year-old has been appointed to head the technical team of FC Samartex 1996 after the exit of Annor Walker, who has joined Great Olympics.
 
The club's official statement reads "We’re extremely delighted to announce an experienced tactician, Amadu Nurudeen as our new Head Coach. The experienced gaffer joins us on a 2-year deal”
 
Nurudeen was the Ghana U-17 assistant coach from 2014-2017 before being elevated to assistant coach of the Ghana U-20 in 2018.
 
He has been tasked to build a solid team to meet the club's objectives for the 2023/24 season.
 
Before joining FC Samartex 1996, he was the head coach of Division One League side Future Stars FC.
 
He also handled relegated Ghana Premier League outfit King Faisal FC during the 2021/22 season.
