Former Accra Great Olympics and Asante Kotoko SC defender Christopher Nakai Nettey has joined Futsal Premier League side Blessed Kickers FC on a short-term deal.
The 26-year-old right-back made his debut for the Accra-based club during matchweek nine of the ongoing Futsal Premier League at the Sprintex Astro Turf this past weekend.
In a post-match interview, Nettey revealed that he is currently a free agent and joined Blessed Kickers to maintain his fitness.
He also expressed his desire to return to the Ghana Premier League or secure a move abroad during the January transfer window.
Nettey, who played for Accra Great Olympics during their relegation from the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, made an immediate impact in his Futsal League debut, scoring a stunning goal in Blessed Kickers' thrilling 4-3 victory over Adenta Youth FC on Saturday.
With his strong start, Nettey aims to use this opportunity to stay sharp as he prepares for his next footballing chapter.
