Ghanaian forward Kofi Kordzi has inked a one-year contract with Libyan top-tier club Al-Tahaddy Sporting Club.

This transfer follows the expiration of Kordzi's contract with Legon Cites at the end of the previous season.

Kordzi played a pivotal role in helping Hearts of Oak secure both the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup titles in 2021.

His outstanding performances earned him a spot on the Ghana home-based national team, where he displayed his skills during the 2023 CHAN tournament held in Morocco.

The deal that facilitated Kordzi's move to the Libyan top flight was brokered by Nana Kwarteng of Sports Light Consult.

This marks Kordzi's second overseas venture, having previously joined Qatari side Muaither SC in 2020. However, he faced challenges making an impact there, leading to his return to the Ghanaian top flight after just one year.
