Former FC Samartex and Ebusua Dwarfs forward Seidu Abubakari is currently training with Asante Kotoko, but no official deal has been signed, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The 24-year-old attacker has been working with the Porcupine Warriors during pre-season, as the technical team continues to assess his performance and fitness levels.
“He is training with the squad, but no decision has been made yet,” a Kotoko official told Kickgh.com.
“We are still monitoring his work rate and overall contribution in the sessions.”
Abubakari, known for his pace and versatility in attack, last featured for Samartex, where he featured in 10 league matches in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko are expected to make a final decision on his status before the start of the new season.
