Abukari Damba has included four players from Asante Kotoko and their assistant coach in his selection for the Ghana Premier League's 22nd week.
Asante Kotoko, the reigning champions, secured a 2-1 victory over FC Samartex 1996 at Nsenkyire Park in Sameraboi, with Enock Morrison and Rocky Dwanena netting in the first half for the Porcupine Warriors.
Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak, who are bitter rivals of Asante Kotoko, had one player, Caleb Amankwah, in the team of the week. Amankwah's solitary goal was enough to give the Phobians a narrow triumph over the struggling Kotoku Royals.
The coach of the week's team is Orlando Wellington, who is currently in charge of Asante Kotoko while coach Seydou Zerbo is away in Burkina Faso.
The team comprises of Kotoko goalkeeper Fredrick Asare, defense players Nicholas Osei Bonsu (Kotoko), Caleb Amankwah (Hearts of Oak), Joseph Adu Dwomoh (King Faisal), and Emmanuel Kotei (Nsoatreman), midfielders Richmond Lamptey (Kotoko), Abdul Karim (Bechem), Michel Otou (Legon Cities), and Enoch Morrison (Kotoko), and attackers Jonathan Sowah (Medeama) and Sampson Eduku (Tamale City).
