Cameroonian duo, Franck Etouga Mbella and George Mfegue have all arrived in Kumasi to begin preseason with current Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko.

The two attackers, played an integral role in helping the Porcupine Warriors end their almost seven year league drought after winning the 2021/22 GPL title.

Franck Etouga Mbella in his debut season, gave a very strong and pleasant account of himself after netting solid 21 goals in the league but unfortunately he narrowly lost the golden boot to Yaw Annor, trailing him with just a goal.

His compatriot, Mfegue was also excellent and netted eight league goals at the end of the season.

Earlier reports this week suggested that, Franck Mbella is most likely to leave the shores of Ghana, having popped up on the radar of Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio.

However, the deadly Cameroonian duo are unlikely to start the preseason with their head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, who also per reports, has resigned from his role.
