The former Hearts of Oak midfielder has sealed a move to the East African club ahead of the 2022/23 season's campaign.

Ghanaian midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway has completed his switch to Ethiopian top-flight league outfit Adama City FC from FC Samartex 1996 for an undisclosed fee.

 
Ansah Botchway left Hearts of Oak to join newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 on the transfer deadline day last month.
 
Kickgh.com understands that the FC Samartex 1996 paid a transfer fee around the region of Gh¢ 40,000 to Hearts of Oak to secure the signature of the former Liberty Professionals central midfielder.
 
The 25-year-old signed a one-year deal with Adama City FC after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.
 
Ansah Botchway was part of players shipped away from the Hearts of Oak after the end of 2021/22 season.
