Former Ghana international Frimpong Manso, has expressed elation towards his appointment as the new head coach of GPL newbies Bofoakwa Tano FC.
The 64 year old has officially joined the Green and Whites as their new substantive coach to replace Fuseini Abubakari- who secured the club a qualification to the Premier League, left his role due to unqualified certificate to handle a top-tier outfit.
In his first interview since assuming the role, the ex- Ghana and Kotoko defender says he is super excited to be entrusted with the job and is willing to do all he can in his power to pleased the teaming supporters in their long return into the topflight.
"I will say I am happy to be here in the name of Bofoakwa I have been in Sunyani before but it was for a different thing. Now I have come to the same environment and the opportunity that came I think it excited me that is why I came,"
"The work here I know is something that is dear to you and I know what you call want, I know what Sunyani want and what Bofoakwa wants that is why I am here."
The experienced tactician has been tasked to finish among the best clubs in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League to maintain their status in the league.
Frimpong Manso has been with Asokwa Deportivo, Nkoranza Warriors, Kenpong FC and other clubs since leaving his role at Asante Kotoko in 2017.
