Ghana Premier League table topper, Bibiani Gold Stars are determined to finish the season successfully, but their main focus is on chasing for the ultimate trophy, which is the league title, instead of setting records.

Gold Stars, who have 56 points from 29 games, hope to win their first Ghana Premier League title and play in the CAF Champions League.

Gold Stars can etch their name in the annals of Ghana football. However, Frimpong Manso stressed the importance of maintaining the winning momentum as the season draws to a close.

"We have four games left, three of them at home. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re motivated to push harder," Manso said after their 2-0 loss to Vision FC in the Matchweek 29 encounter at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

The Miners were seeking to stretch their lead on the league table but suffered the setback against Vision FC.

"Even for the away game, we’ll fight for something. We’re still on course to win the league," he added.
