The Ghana Football Association has announced that the winner of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season will receive Gh¢ 300,000 as prize money.
President of the country's football governing body, Kurt Okraku disclosed the prize money for the top-tier during the launch of the 2022/23 season at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Friday evening.
In August, the Ghana Football Association announced a three-year headline sponsorship deal worth $6 million with Africa's leading betting company Betpawa.
The winner of the League winner will take home a trophy and cash prize of GH¢ 300,000 and 40 gold medals whiles the 1st and 2nd Runner up receive GH¢ 200,000, 40 silver medals and GH¢ 80,000, 40 Bronze medals respectively.
The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season is set to commence on Friday, 9th September, 2022.
