Aduana Stars capitalized on their home advantage to secure a crucial 1-0 victory over Legon Cities in a tense encounter on matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Fire Boys clinched the win at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, courtesy of a goal from Bright Adjei. The experienced forward found the back of the net just 11 minutes into the game, giving the hosts an early lead.

Despite Legon Cities' efforts to find an equalizer, Aduana Stars held onto their advantage until the final whistle, ensuring they claimed all three points from the highly anticipated clash.

The victory marked a strong comeback for Aduana Stars after a disappointing start to the second round of the Premier League campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Samartex at home last month.

Having missed out on action last weekend due to the unavailability of Medeama SC, Aduana Stars made a statement with their return to the pitch, securing a vital win on home turf.

With this victory, Aduana Stars solidified their position on the Ghana Premier League table, currently sitting in second place with 33 points. Meanwhile, Legon Cities occupy the 12th position with 25 points.
