Dreams FC extended their winning streak to two after inflicting a resounding 3-0 win over Bibiani Goldstars earlier this afternoon at the Theater of Dreams Park in Dawu.
Coach Karim Zito started new goalie Gidios Aseaka in post. Captain Abdul Jalilu, veteran John Antwi, Godfred Atuahene, starboy Abdul Aziz Issah, all made the line up.
On the opposition end, coach Frimpong Manso fielded a usual line up with goalkeeper Yaw Osei, Vincent Atinga, Appiah McCarthy, Ronald Frimpong all included but Prince Kwabena Owusu wasn't in tbe squad.
It was a smooth start for both teams who focused much on keeping the ball to themselves and swing passes here and there, rather than creating chances.
Eventually, the home team jumped into the lead on the 22nd minute through experienced striker John Antwi to take a 1-0 lead at half time.
Back from recess, Bibiani Goldstars tried making some early incursions in search of goal but misfired the few chances that fell on their path.
With ten minutes to full time, Ishmael Dede found the back of the net to double the lead for Dreams FC. Just what they had been hunting for.
And eventually, John Antwi again, scored four minutes later to seal his brace and grab the third of the day for the Still Believe lads. It ended 3-0 for Dreams FC after full time.
