Augustine Okrah, Emmanuel Avornyo and Francis Acquah scored the goals as Bechem United recorded a 3-0 win over Nations FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the match-day sixteen fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The victory is Bechem’s first Premier League encounter over Nations FC in their history, and it has moved them into 5th position in the table, now on 26 points from 16 matches.
The Abrankese based Nations FC remain sixth, two points behind Bechem United, but they have now lost six times in Ghana’s top flight this season.
Bechem United will be aiming to continue their magnificent form when they head to the Baba Yara Stadium to face Hearts of Oak in the new year - 7th January, 2024,
Nations FC, on the other hand, will welcome Nsoatreman FC to the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on January 7, 2024 in a nerve cracking showdown.
