Medeama SC’s safe hands, Felix Kyei, is ready to commit his future to the Yellow and Mauves, despite still being under contract for another year.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper swapped Karela colours for Medeama’s Yellow and Mauve, who has become a fan favourite in Tarkwa, is believed to be keen on staying with the club after a season that saw him put in several standout performances between the sticks.

“I have one-year left on my contract with Medeama and have no intention of leaving the club. I'm ready to extend my contract with the club,” Kyei told Medeama FM. “However, if the club decides to sell me, I have no option but to move.”

Kyei, who joined Medeama in January 2023 played 16 times in the just ended Ghana Premier League campaign, achieving five clean sheets while shipping in 19 goals.

His decision to stay will be a major boost for Medeama, who are looking to build stability ahead of the 2025/26 season after a mixed campaign filled with highs and lows.
