Godwin Attram, a former player of the Ghana Black Stars, has expressed his opinion that Accra-based side, the Dade Boys, made a mistake by sacking their former head coach Yaw Preko, considering their current situation.

Preko was dismissed from his role in February this year after a poor run of results in the Ghana Premier League. Attram is advocating that the club should also take into account the development of the team when evaluating the coach's performance, not just the results.

He stated in an interview with Citi Sports, "We all know that we want to win matches, the club must win matches and all those things but what about development?...When Yaw [Preko] was here, he built up the team; Olympics started very well from the beginning in the first round. 22 points is a credit. The second round started and things were not going well but this is where sometimes you need the support from the management."

Despite his suggestion, the Dade Boys have since hired former Karela United coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah.

However, the team has not had a good start under his leadership, as they are currently placed 15th on the league log, just three points above the relegation zone.
