Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC's headline sponsors, Goldfields Ghana have pledged to support the team financially in their next season's Africa campaign
Goldfields Ghana is a mining company and the club's main sponsors who supports the Tarkwa-based side with $300,000 every year and are also nearing completion of the renovation of the T.N.A Park to a 10,000 seater which could be used by the club in the 2023/24 season.
The Mauves and Yellows end Western Region's 46 year long abeyance to win their first ever league title, having climaxed their season with an emphatic 3-0 win over Tamale City FC earlier today.

Having emerged as champions, report says Goldfields once again have promised a whooping $2m to be shared among the playing body and technical team as a reward package for their league triumph.
The team after this glory will definitely prepare to represent Ghana very well in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League and have also received assurance from their Goldfields Ghana to cater for all cost and needs of the club throughout the campaign.
The last time Medeama SC played in Africa was in the 2016/17 season where they made it into the money zone of the CAF Confederations Cup.
