Bibiani Goldstars head coach, Frimpong Manso, insists his sights are set on finishing the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League in a befitting position by the close of the season.
The Miners are having a good time in the ongoing campaign, having recorded four wins after seven games, with three draws, and gripping the 1st spot.
However, speaking to Kumasi based Akoma FM, Manso stated that his mind is fixed on finishing in a respectable position by the end of the campaign.
“For the time being, we have not set a specific goal, but as a team, we aim to gain the most points possible from each game and complete the season in a respectable place,” he said.
“I don't want to say we're going to win the league after seven games because that will put too much pressure on the players. Remember, most of the players are only getting a taste of the Premier League, and setting such lofty goals for them will put too much pressure on them. That doesn't mean that if the opportunity to win arises, we won't take it; we will.
“All I'm trying to say is that it's too early to predict whether or not we'll win it, we'll go into each game with a winning mentality and see what happens” he concluded.
