Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah says they will fight hard to protect their unbeaten record against Nations FC when the sides meet in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
Bechem United have never lost to Nations FC in the league, winning two of their five meetings while the other three games ended in draws.
The Hunters will travel to Abrankese on Friday, March 6, for a Week 26 clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Amissah admits there is pressure ahead of the match but believes his players are ready to maintain the record.
“There's pressure, but that pressure will not take the best out of us,” he said in a pre-match interview with Bechem United TV.
“We'll focus, and then psychologically we will prepare ourselves so that this record will not be the first time to be broken. We'll make sure we work hard to sustain that record. This is not going to be the first time of breaking that record.”
Friday’s Ghana Premier League encounter between Nations FC and Bechem United is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
