Bechem United assistant coach Mallam Yahaya says his side will treat Eleven Wonders with full respect when the two teams meet in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League Matchweek 14 clash.
The Hunters host the bottom-placed outfit on December 14 in a Week 14 fixture at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, as they look to respond after a poor run of results.
Speaking ahead of the match, Yahaya admitted Bechem United had been below their best in recent outings but insisted the team has learned from its setbacks.
“Difficulties in football are normal. We relaxed in the last few games, and that affected us in the last three matches. We have seen our mistake, and it won’t happen again. At this level, we can’t underrate any team,” he said.
He stressed that Bechem United will adopt a focused and disciplined approach against Wonders.
“We can’t underrate Eleven Wonders. We must stay focused and approach every game with a winning mentality. That is what can help us escape relegation.”
Sunday’s match kicks off at 3:00 pm, with Bechem United aiming to climb out of the relegation zone.
