Ghana Premier League outfit Accra Great Olympics have terminated the contract of their head coach, Yaw Preko after five months of his appointment.

Preko was appointed to lead the Capital based club as successor of Annor Walker, who left the club to join Premier League newbies FC Samartex following the expiration of his contract at Great Olympics.

 
Management of Accra Great Olympics have sacked the former Ghana international as the club's head coach following their recent poor performance in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
 
The decision of his sacking comes after a 2-1 away loss to Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League match-week 17 fixture last weekend.
 
Kickgh.com understands that veteran coach, Isaac Armah and ex-Ghana international, Richard Kingson have been handed the technical role temporarily for their next Premier League game against Bechem United.
 
Great Olympics currently occupies 10th position on the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League log with 23 points after seventeen games.
