Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has called on his side to be more clinical and decisive ahead of their crucial game against Heart of Lions on Friday.

The ‘Phobians’ and the Giant Killers will square off in what will definitely be a very fascinating to kickstart round 26 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Rainbow Club head into the fixture on the back of a poor run of form, having gone winless in their last three matches and currently sitting third on the league table with 41 points after 25 games.

Speaking to Hearts TV ahead of the game, the ex- Black Stars assistant coach is expecting a difficult test against a compact and aggressive side but believes his team must improve their finishing, make good use of their chances to secure a positive result.

“I think that we need to be more clinical… We need to be very, very decisive in terms of closing up central spaces, and we need to be very, very intense in terms of our pressing situations.

“Heart of Lions are one of the toughest opponents in the league. They are very compact, and they are very aggressive. They are a ball-playing side. So, we need to be very strong in our second actions.

“We acknowledge their strengths, but we are going to play to try as much as possible to come back with a very important result,” he concluded.

The game is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at the Kpando Sports Stadium at 15:00GMT (3:00pm)
