Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has called on his players to aim for victory when they face Asante Kotoko in their matchweek 4 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Lions secured their third straight win of the season with a 1-0 victory against Bechem United at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday.
“Today’s game was a very tough one. The first one we played at home was tough, but I think this one was tougher,” Hayford said.
“We managed the game very well and we made sure we got the maximum points. We thank God for it, and we worked for it. We will go back and work on the next match.”
The win leaves Lions unbeaten at the start of the 2025/26 season. They travel to Kumasi on 5 October to take on Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.
