Ghana Premier League side, Kpando Heart of Lions have announced the sacking of head coach Abdul Fatawu Salifu, mainly due to poor performance.
Official club statement on Facebook reads;
"Heart of Lions and Mr. Fatawu Salifu have mutually agreed to part ways."
"The club thanks coach Salifu Fatawu for his role in ensuring its qualification to the Ghana Premier League. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
The young tactician has been with the team since last season and helped them secured qualification back into the Premier League but haven't been impressive since their return.
They haven't won a game since their return in the topflight, having drawn eight and lost five, with a game to spare and currently sit at the foot of the league log with eight points.
The Giant Killers will play as guests to Legon Cities FC in Sogakope in the next round of matches.
