Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojša Kapor has warned his players not to rely on past results as they prepare to face Vision FC in Ghana Premier League match-week 7 showdown later this afternoon.
The ‘Phobians’ finally got themselves back on winning ways with a slim 1-0 win over Port City after three-game winless run and are looking forward to building on that momentum going forward.
The Bosnian gaffer believes they must approach the encounter with the right mentality and should totally do away with what happened in the past.
“Last season is last season. They change lot of players, also Hearts change some players and different energies now because now is let's say like opening of the season.”
The enterprising gaffer also acknowledged Vision FC’s quality, describing them as a young side with a good squad. He also expects the encounter to be different because it will be played on an artificial turf.
“They have a good squad, young squad, and I'm sure that must be far better preparation for us,” he noted. “We are also playing on Astros and that can be a far different game for us... Especially now also they are going with different coach.”
The game is slated for 15:00GMT (3:00pm) at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium.
