The Hearts of Oak board has expressed serious concern over the team's recent performance in the Ghana Premier League, branding it as "unacceptable".

With five losses in their last six matches, the club is teetering on the brink of relegation, sitting just four points above the dreaded drop zone.

“The board would like to address the recent poor results of the team, which we find unacceptable,” the statement began. “Please be assured that we are actively engaged in discussions with Management and the technical team to address this concern promptly.”

Led by the Agbogbomafia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, the board reiterated its dedication to preserving the illustrious legacy of Hearts of Oak. It also sought to reassure stakeholders and fans that every possible effort is being exerted to reverse the current downward spiral.

“Your continued support is invaluable to us as we work towards a brighter future for Accra Hearts of Oak. Together, we will navigate through this period and emerge stronger than ever before.”
