Hearts of Oak have been boosted by the return of dependable defender Kelvin Osei Asibey as head of their game against Aduana Stars.

The former Eleven Wonders center-back has been sidelined for some time due to injury, which interrupted his strong debut season.

Since joining Hearts of Oak, the 23-year-old has established himself as a key team member, making 14 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.

Asibey has now started recovery training with the Phobians' physical trainer, Jordan Enoch Daitey, and is expected to return to action soon.

This development comes at a crucial time for Hearts of Oak as they prepare to host Aduana Stars in a highly competitive fixture on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It remains uncertain whether head coach Aboubakar Ouattara will call on the highly-rated defender for the upcoming match.

Nevertheless, Asibey's return is a significant boost for the Ghanaian giants, who are aiming for a strong finish to their Premier League campaign.

With five games remaining in the season, Hearts of Oak currently sit in eleventh position on the Premier League standings.
