Hearts of Oak are reportedly in talks to sign former Asante Kotoko and Kotoku Royals striker Francis Andy Kumi.

According to the report, talks between the player and Hearts of Oak have begun as the Phobians are working in favor of the clock here, making sure the transfer comes to fruition before the GPL transfer window comes to a closure.

Kumi spent the 2023/24 season in Serbia at FK Radnički Niš but barely kicked a ball for Saša Mrkić’s side, falling behind in the pecking order which made him move to OFK Vrsac due to playing time.

The 25-year-old was set to join a Polish side after departing Serbia but as at the time of filing this report, Kickgh.com understands he failed to make the trip due to visa problems.

Despite his recent struggles in the Serbian First League, the silky attacker still has plenty of admirers in the Ghana Premier League, and Hearts of Oak are among the clubs interested in signing him.
