Accra Hearts of Oak are looking to strengthen their squad depth with the signing of Joseph Amoah from Legon Cities.
The Phobians endured a tumultuous 2023/24 season, finishing 14th on the log with 45 points, just one point above Olympics, who were relegated. They had to wait until the final day of the season to avoid the drop and retain their Premier League status.
As such, the Phobians are reportedly set to overhaul their team, scouring the market for players who can fit into the club’s philosophy. Amoah has been identified as an ideal player for the club's future.
The 19-year-old had an impressive debut season with the Royals, providing seven assists in 24 Premier League games and also scoring two goals with four assists in the FA Cup.
Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal that the Phobians have formally contacted Legon Cities for the services of Amoah, who is also being pursued by a host of clubs in the Ghanaian elite division.
Able to control the tempo of matches, dig his heels in and attack when required, and also provide the eye-of-the-needle pass forward that starts (finishes) an attack.
