Harry Zakour, former Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak has recommended that the club should be given to young men to run it.

Zakour went ahead to stress that the former continental club masters should not be handled by old men.

In a yet-to-be-aired interview on Joy Sports Prime Take, he said; "You see what is happening now - you see, in my time, we had a good board of directors. When I look at the recent happenings, you need youth to run Hearts of Oak, not old men.

Zakour further stressed that the Ghanaian club needs energetic people who will be able to visit the teams training grounds constantly and create a rapport with the players.

"Would they have enough time to come and run Accra Hearts of Oak? Would they have time, those board members, who are there now, are going to the training grounds or to the camp to look after the boys? The boys need attention.

"Footballers are like women, if you don't give them attention, how do you get results from them?" Harry Zakkour quizzed.
