Accra Hearts of Oak will return to the Accra Sports Stadium to play their remaining home matches in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League following the closure of the University of Ghana Stadium for renovation works.
The Phobians started the season at the Accra Sports Stadium before later decided to move to the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, where they have played majority of their home fixtures so far.
The latest decision comes as a result of ongoing renovation works at the Legon venue, forcing the club to return to their traditional home for the rest of the campaign.
Hearts of Oak have recorded mixed results at the Accra Sports Stadium this season, playing five matches with one win, three draws and one defeat.
At the University of Ghana Stadium, however, they enjoyed an unbeaten run in seven matches, registering three wins and four draws.
The Phobians will now play their remaining five home games at the Accra Sports Stadium as they look to finish the season on a higher note and at least make a ‘top four’ finish.
Their first game back at the Accra Sports Stadium will be against Swedru All Blacks on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
