Accra Hearts of Oak left-back Dennis Nkrumah Korsah made his first-ever debut for the senior national team of Ghana against Japan in the 2022 Kirin Cup.
Korsah was handed a starting berth in the Black Stars' first match of the four-nation tournament against host nation, Japan at the Noevir Stadium.
Japan inflicted a heavy 4-1 defeat on the Black Stars of Ghana to secure a ticket to the final of the 2022 Kirin Cup tournament.
The 26-year-old full-back enjoyed 68 minutes of the game action before he was replaced by Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
Korsah was handed a late call-up to the senior national team of Ghana after missing the initial squad list announced by Coach Otto Addo for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.
He is rated among the best left-backs in the Ghana Premier League following his exploits at his club, Hearts of Oak.
Korsah joined Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal from Ebusua Dwarfs earlier this year.
