Hearts of Oak head coach, Slavko Matic tasted his first defeat few days ago in the GPL and has left the shores of the country for Serbia for a short holidays.
This is due to the reason that, the Ghana Football Association have agreed to postpone Hearts of Oak matches until the CHAN is over due to the limited number of players they are having in camp at the moment.
Skipper Gladson Awako, Konadu Yiadom, Dennis Korsah and Suraj Seidu are all with the Black Galaxies currently in Algeria including marksman Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who has just been transferred to Swiss topflight side FC Zürich.
With this, the Serbian gaffer has decided to fly back home to spent time with his family until the competition is over.
The year old joined the 'Phobians' in the early stages of this season to replace out-gone head coach Samuel Boadu who was jettisoned in what is described as poor performance and started off on a very higher note.
He led them to an incredible eight matches without a defeat- a run which got them into the top four but suffered his first defeat last Monday against Bechem United in Cape Coast in week 10.
His longetivity in his native Serbia will be depended on how far Ghana will go in the tournament which commences in less than a week time.
