The Phobians have officially abrogated the contracts of their three senior players ahead of the second round of the 2023/24 season's campaign.
Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the departure of Cameroonian striker Albert Eonde, Michelle Sarpong and Eric Esso.
The trio, who have been part of the Hearts of Oak team for the past seasons, have exited the club due to their recent uninspiring performances.
Albert Eonde, who arrived at the club last season after leaving Zimbabwean side FC Platinum, failed to score a goal in his 25 appearances for the club.
Esso's contract was terminated by the club based on lack of playing time in the ongoing season where he has made only eight game outings. He joined Hearts of Oak last season after leaving defunct Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC.
Hearts of Oak have also released Michelle Sarpong, who ranked through the club's youth side Auroras FC to earn promotion to the seånior team in 2019.
He made 37 appearances for Hearts of Oak across all competitions during his stay. Sarpong was also loaned out to Elmina Sharks and Dreams FC in the previous seasons.
Hearts of Oak are currently on the transfer market looking forward to strengthening their squad for the next round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
They have already secured the signature of three goalkeepers namely Osei Bonsu, Nana Nketiah and Sharif Shuaib.
