Accra Hearts of Oak are on the verge of appointing Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, in what is shaping up to be a significant overhaul of the club’s technical team.

The former Kotoko coach, Didi Dramani, who is widely respected for his tactical acumen and player development track record, is expected to replace Ouattara Aboubakar, the Ivorian trainer who oversaw a turbulent spell with the Phobians.

Sources close to the club indicate that negotiations are at an advanced stage with Dramani, and an official announcement is anticipated soon. The move signals Hearts of Oak's renewed ambition to re-establish themselves as a dominant force both domestically and in Africa.

As part of the technical shake-up, former Asante Kotoko assistant coach and current Basake Holy Stars head coach, Abdulai Gazale, is also set to join Hearts of Oak as the first assistant coach. Talks with Gazale are reportedly progressing smoothly, with both parties optimistic about finalizing the deal in the coming days.

Additionally, Fiifi Parker Hanson, who recently guided Golden Kick FC to the MTN FA Cup final, is lined up to become the second assistant coach, pending Dramani’s approval and final confirmation of his appointment.

If confirmed, the trio of Didi Dramani, Abdulai Gazale, and Fiifi Parker Hanson would form a formidable and experienced technical bench, combining national team exposure, Premier League experience, and youthful coaching dynamism.

With the President's Cup and the 2025/26 season fast approaching, Hearts of Oak are moving swiftly to solidify their technical direction.
