According to Ghanasportspage.com, Hearts of Oak striker, Kwadwo Obeng Junior has agreed to a pre-contract with an unnamed Swedish top-flight club for a three-year term.

The report indicates that Obeng Junior is set to leave Hearts of Oak in two months, with his new contract with the Swedish club running until May 2026.

Prior to joining Hearts of Oak, Obeng Junior was considered one of the most promising young players in the Division One League. In 2017, he scored 13 league goals and three Ghana FA Cup goals, including goals against Steadfast FC in the round of 16 and Asante Kotoko in the last eight.

Obeng Junior extended his contract with Hearts of Oak in the 2020/21 season and finished as the club's top scorer in all competitions.

Despite being a highly valued member of the squad, Obeng Junior has faced criticism from fans due to his recent scoring drought. As a result, he has chosen to further his football career in Europe.
