The ex-Asante Kotoko rearguard is set to stage a return to the Berekum-based club in the ongoing transfer window, kickgh.com have been hinted

Berekum Chelsea FC are set to re-sign former defender Ahmed Adams on a free transfer deal, with the 29-year-old currently in Berekum to strike a deal with the former Ghana Premier League champions.

The experienced defender is currently unattached after leaving Icelandic side KFA Austfjarda this season. However, the tough-tackling centre-back was initially linked to his former employers and per the local media reports, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium outfit have declined the opportunity to re-sign him for this term's campaign.

A source close to the former Black Galaxies defender has hinted to us that, Adams could soon join the Golden City Park outfit following an advanced talk of negotiations between both parties.

King Faisal were also in the frame for the services of the 29-year-old, but a high demand of monthly salary put them off over his pursuit in the current campaign.

Should Berekum Chelsea succeed in landing him, he will become their second signing in the ongoing transfer window after re-signing their former skipper Stephen Amankona from Asante Kotoko.
