Hisense Ghana is on the brink of extending its partnership with Asante Kotoko, as both entities look to renew their collaboration.

The original three-year sponsorship agreement, which was initiated during the tenure of the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah, reached its conclusion after the previous football season.

Kotoko faced a challenging situation in persuading Hisense to extend the agreement, as the expiration of the contract coincided with the departure of the CEO, who had been instrumental in the negotiations.

However, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) has successfully brokered a mutually beneficial deal for both parties in anticipation of the upcoming season.

In their initial sponsorship arrangement with the Porcupine Warriors, Hisense provided an annual sum of GHC 3 million, accompanied by various products valued at approximately GHC 230,000, presented to the club at Adako Jachie to offer additional support.

It is rumored that Hisense has entered into a fresh three-year sponsorship agreement, committing to financial contributions through 2026. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the formal announcement of this renewed partnership is anticipated to take place this weekend.

In their prior sponsorship tenure, Hisense prominently showcased their emblem across the stadium and on the team's uniforms, affording them significant visibility for their range of products and services.
