Hearts of Oak have climbed up to the summit of the Ghana Premier League after their win over Young Apostles but coach Aboubakar Ouattara has refused to express league winning readiness.
The 'Phobians' put up a stupendous performance to edge the 'Ogya Na )w) Tumi' lads by 2-0 to kickoff GPL match-day 23 last Saturday evening at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Two headed goals in each half from Michael Awuah Mensah and Hamza Issah were enough to hand the Rainbow Club all three points.
Hearts of Oak after the precious win have now moved to the top of the log with 36 points even though it could change depending on results of other matches.
Speaking in a post-match interview on AFA Sports Channel, the Ivorian expressed elation for the win but once again refused to confirm whether they are going in strongly for the championship or not.
"As to whether we will win the league, I can only reply you on 8th June. Our next game is against Dreams FC and that's another tough game and we're going to prepare for the game."
Hearts of Oak will hope to continue with similar motivation when they host Dreams FC in the next round of matches.
